ACLS Instructor Course



Becoming an American Heart Association ACLS Instructor is easy after consulting with Breathe CPR to find out whether you qualify to become a new instructor and the TSC’s (Training Site’s Coordinator) preferred course delivery.

The steps are simple – get started today!
1 Be accepted by Breathe CPR before enrolling in an Instructor Course and have a completed Instructor Candidate Application and a form of New York State Picture ID (Identification) on file with Breathe CPR.
2 Have current AHA BLS Provider, BLS Instructor, & ACLS Provider status and be proficient in all the skills of the BLS & ACLS Provider discipline. Must provide your current BLS Provider, BLS Instructor, & ACLS Provider card when registering.
3 Successfully complete the ACLS Provider classroom Instructor Course.
4 Successfully monitor and be monitored teaching your first course within six months of completing the ACLS Provider classroom Instructor Course. Breathe CPR’s Faculty can require additional monitoring.

Once you become a ACLS Instructor, you will have access to the most current emergency cardiovascular care science, course updates, training resources and tools through the online AHA Instructor Network. You will also be able to post class dates and times to reach more students through our public website.
